Introduction
Orders submitted to an exchange and not yet traded in the market are shown in this window.
Open the Active Orders window by clicking on View > Active Orders from the menu bar at the Swordfish main menu.

An order that was submitted and not yet traded in the market can be cancelled.
Method
Open the 'Active Orders' or 'Triggered Orders' window (depending on which type of order you wish to cancel) by clicking on View > Active Orders or View > Triggered Orders from the menu bar at the top of Swordfish: Select the order(s) you wish to cancel. Use Ctrl + left mouse click to select multiple orders. When you have selected the order(s), click the Cancel menu item and the order(s) will be cancelled.
Note
1.Only active orders and triggered orders can be cancelled. 2.To cancel ALL active orders or ALL triggered orders, click the Cancel All button in the relevant window. 3.The user might be able to select orders to cancel but Swordfish permissions will not allow the actual cancel of the order(s) if the user has no cancel rights.

An active order that was submitted and not yet traded in the market can be suspended.
Method
Open by clicking on View > Active Orders on the Swordfish main menu. Select the order(s) you wish to suspend. Use Ctrl + left mouse click to select multiple orders. When you have selected the order(s), click the Susp menu item and the order(s) will be suspended. To view or maintain suspended orders see Suspended orders.
Note
1.Only active orders can be suspended. 2.To suspend ALL active orders in the window, press the Susp All menu item.

This section explains how to update a single active order Bid or Sell order quantity. The active order will only retain its position in the order stack on successful change and update of the order quantity.
Method
1.Open by clicking on View > Active Orders on the Swordfish main menu.
2.Find and select by clicking ONE active order entry in the list of orders. The quantity value next to Update Ord menu item will reflect. 3.Adjust the Quantity. It can only be reduced (exchange enforced). 4.Click on the Update Ord menu item. See the updated quantity in the active order entry.

1.Minimum order quantity is one. 2.Only one active order at a time can be updated by this method. |

This section explains how to update the Order Price from the Active Order window. This update method will not guarantee that the position of the order in the stack is retained.
Method
1.Open by clicking on View > Active Orders on the Swordfish main menu. 2.Find and select by clicking ONE active order entry in the list of orders. The Price value will reflect the active order price. 3.Adjust the price. 4.Click on the 'Update Ord' menu item. See the updated price in the active order entry.
Note
1. If the updated price is outside the instrument's market limits then the exchange will cancel your order. 2. Keyboard 'Enter' button press when the cursor is in the edit fields on Active orders window will have the same effect as clicking the Update button. 3. When principal filter is active and CANCEL ALL is selected, only the active orders that are filtered according to specific principal will be canceled.
